Ashtin Earle is kicking off her hot girl summer with a new love interest: DJ John Summit.

The content creator and musician were first spotted in early July 2024, packing on the PDA during one of his sets. Earle addressed the rumors that the two were together on her sister Alix Earle’s podcast, Hot Mess with Alix Earle, sharing that the two were just “having fun.”

Earle, who turned 21 in April, has been building her own career on TikTok after making appearances on Alix’s page. Her content often includes “get ready with me” videos as well as sneak peeks of her life as a student at Tulane University.

Summit has had a busy summer with the release of his debut album, Comfort in Chaos, years after he quit his job as a CPA. Though he’s skyrocketed to fame, he admitted to PEOPLE in July 2024 that he wasn’t sure if he was ready for a relationship.

"The week I left my accounting job, I also found out my girlfriend was cheating on me, so I quit that and I quit the girlfriend in the same week," he said. "I've been single ever since, so then I'm kind of scared of, if I do get a relationship, it's going to ruin my career, because everything's going so good. Before she was tied to him romantically, Earle posted a TikTok of herself getting dressed to go to Summit's Madison Square Garden concert in New York City.

June 30, 2024: Ashtin Earle makes a TikTok using John Summit’s audio saying he’s never gotten a girl flowers

Summit appeared on a June 2024 episode of content creator Jake Shane’s podcast, Therapuss with Jake Shane, where he admitted he’d never gotten a girl flowers before. The snippet soon went viral on TikTok with an audio of Summit saying, “I’ve never gotten a girl like flowers…But no I’ve gotten my mom flowers once.”

Shane replied in dismay, and Summit elaborated that he didn’t see the point in the gift unless a girl asked for them.

Earle and Shane later mouthed the words to the audio on Earle’s TikTok, while Earle laughed through the bit.

July 3, 2024: Ashtin Earle and John Summit are seen kissing during one of his DJ sets

Just a few days later, Earle and Summit were spotted kissing while he was performing a set at a club in the Hamptons in New York. Attendees captured a video of Summit turning to Earle and giving her a hug and a few kisses on the cheeks and lips before turning back to his equipment.

In another video posted by the same attendee, Summit could be seen giving Earle flowers during his set — a possible call back to her making fun of him for never doing that before.

Later that day, Summit joked on X that he was “never going out in public again,” seemingly referring to the videos captured of him and Earle kissing.

The following day, it appeared as though Summit invited Earle to accompany him at the last minute to Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin’s famous White Party. Alix posted a video of herself getting ready to attend with her boyfriend, Braxton Barrios, adding that her sister would now be accompanying her.

“Ashtin didn’t even know she was going though until literally an hour ago so somehow she already pulled it together,” Alix said in the TikTok.

The sisters later posted a video from the party together, which Summit also attended, sharing photos from the event on his Instagram.

July 11, 2024: Ashtin Earle says she’s “having fun” while addressing John Summit dating rumors on Alix Earle’s podcast

A week after the White Party, Earle sat down with Alix on her podcast and addressed the rumors about her relationship. She said how she wasn’t used to being recorded and didn’t think others would see the video.

"This is just a new experience for me to be recorded every time I'm out," Earle said, agreeing with Alix that “it is a little creepy.”

She added she “doesn’t realize” in the moment that she’s being filmed because she’s not thinking about the possibility of that, but did confirm that she and Summit were “just having fun” without naming the artist.

"I feel for you right now," Alix said. "I don't feel bad though because you're having fun."

July 13, 2024: Ashtin Earle celebrates John Summit’s album release with him in Las Vegas

Earle flew out to Las Vegas to celebrate the release of Summit’s debut album, Comfort in Chaos, at LIV Beach. An attendee took a video of Earle dancing and singing along behind Summit along with Shane.

At one point, Summit turned around and locked eyes with Earle before turning back to the audience.
